What is B7-33?

B7-33 is a synthetic peptide of 33 amino acids derived from the B-chain of human relaxin-2; the name refers to residues 7 to 33 of that chain. Whereas natural relaxin consists of two chains connected by disulfide bridges, B7-33 is a single-chain analog.
